Interesting

We got a Christmas card from our vet yesterday. He said he felt like we did the right thing and wanted to let us know he was sorry. He also added that they had found after they put him down that he actually had cancer and had a ton of fluid in his lungs. We thought that was interesting and we were glad to know that we didn't waste any money on the medication that was for his heart and would have done nothing for the real problem...poor skip, he was probably really not feeling well. He was such a trooper too and went hunting and tried to run everytime we took him out and he was always so exhausted when he got home...NO WONDER!
