Thoughts
A few weeks ago just we were getting ready to go to bed and starting the bedtime routine when Elizabeth said "We have to say prayers before we go to bed". "We have to tell him how happy he is". Grandpa Lee replied with a question we were all having "You mean how happy you are"? Elizabeth responded saying "No, how happy he is". I was still unsure of what she was getting at so I asked her "Why do you think he is so happy"? She matter of factly responded "Because he is happy I comed here". The room was quiet while we all took in what a special thing she had said. With teary eyes I told here that is was one of my favorite things she has ever said.
This touched me as a mother that she would be sensitive to how Heavenly Father was feeling, but that it also meant she felt the situation was a good thing.
When you think about why Heavenly Father would be happy that she was here it makes complete sense. My first thoughts were that he was pleased with the whole situation, we had our prayers answered and our lives were being blessed. There is more to it than that she moving to a home where she would be able to go to the temple. She would be raised with the Gospel, get a chance to get baptized and someday go to the temple. She would now have a chance to return to live with him again. He would be happy that he would get to see his Elizabeth come home.

Back to work
| Andrew loves this |
We have had some really cute students and friends that have sent gifts for Lizy. This came in the mail from my student Presley.
She is SUCH a helper, it doesn't matter what you are doing, she wants to help. She also is quite fond of cooking. This is her after making sherbet ice cream with chopped bananas. This was with ZERO help from mom. She even put the ice cream back in the freezer when she was done. What a good girl.
I don't care that it is dark and that I am supposed to be getting ready for bed. 5 degrees outside is a great time to blow bubbles.
Yeah mom, could you get a sled? This kitty litter box just doesn't cut it.
