We had been talking about a few people we knew whose husbands took off on them during some kind of mid-life crisis. I asked Andrew if he was ever going to decide he was sick of me and take off. After a small moment he said "You are the one thing I'm really happy about in my life." He mentioned other things that were just okay. My heart melted. What a sweetheart.

I'm glad to hear that the adoption process is going along good. Your posts seem more upbeat and that is good to hear or I guess read. :)
